Lazy Town

Can we discuss the creepiness that is Lazy Town for a moment? Thank you. PD loves this show. I hide under a blanket while he watches it. I honestly don't know what creeps me out the most. The weird techno music, the weird puppets, the weird villain that looks like a puppet, the pink girl, or the freak known as Sportacus.

I am not the only one who thinks it's creepy. I asked the ladies on my message board what they think. Here are the results from the poll I posted.

Sportacus
This man is bizzar y'all. He is some weird superhero that lives in a blimp over the town. I guess the town scares him so much he can't live in it? He is constantly pushing "Sports Candy" on the citizens of the town. But it's not candy y'all. It's fruit. Which is fine kids need to eat fruit, but call it fruit! Don't lie to them and tell them it's candy. I would have thrown this "sports candy" at someone.



Stephanie
I don't understand this little chick. Her Uncle is the Mayor of Lazy Town, but dude is a puppet. So is her Mom a puppet? Her Dad? Was Uncle Puppet Man the only puppet born in to the family? Or was Stephanie the only non-puppet born into the family? Was she adopted? I need to know this. She seems to be Sportacus's BFF. Which, let's face it folks, in any other town a grown man hanging around her would be creepy but oh no! Not in Lazy Town, that is normal! And healthy, and eat my "sports candy" little girl!


Robbie Rotten
Ironically, I find this guy the LEAST creepy of the gang. Maybe it's because he obviously finds something creepy with the town? Maybe because he is lazy and I am too. I have no clue why this guy doesn't freak me out as much.


Now that this post is done I am going to go watch It to scrub my brain of the horror that is Lazy Town.
